By evaluating the suppliers, we continue to work with those that provide a high level of satisfaction.
- All suppliers that are approved for purchasing over the SOF program within the body of Goldas are classified as approved suppliers by Goldaş Kuyumculuk (Goldas Jewelry). Any material that has impact on the final product is purchased from the suppliers on this list.
- If the company to whom the order would be placed is not on the List of Approved Supplier List, then the company is considered as Candidate Supplier and purchasing process is realized.
- When any materials having impact on the quality of the final product is purchased and the materials arrive at the gate of the company, the security officers of the company inform the Incoming Goods Quality Department and the incoming materials are checked by the Incoming Goods Quality Control Supervisor.
- The information on the Incoming Goods Quality Control Report filled during the quality check is entered onto Supplier Registry/Record Card by the Incoming Goods Quality Control Supervisor.
- The Incoming Goods Quality Supervisor grades the supplying company according to the amount, quality and deadline by giving points for each of those on the Supplier Evaluation Table (Form) and this grades are recorded on to the Supplier Registry Record Card.
- The Quality Assurance Department, records those grades on the Supplier Record Card into the Supplier Rating Report at the end of each month. Supplier company’s annual performance follow-up is performed through this report.
- Each company is separately evaluated on the Supplier Rating Report.
- During the Rating of the Suppliers, each company is included onto the corresponding lists namely, Approved, Candidate or Removed Suppliers, according to the grade it has been given. However, those companies determined as not to be worked any more regardless of the lists they are included, are removed from all lists.
